Standing Together - 2022 Networking Summit

With our EWIH Networking Summit, we hope to connect individuals in the community with female healthcare professionals and mentors, to facilitate an engaging conversation in navigating around barriers, inequalities, and how to grow as future leaders. 

Our theme of Standing Together highlights the importance of networking in an inclusive and diverse way while addressing the collective efforts and experiences of our panellists and mentors and learning from each other.

Featuring Health Leader Panelists and Mentors, Community Leaders and Club Ambassadors, small discussion groups, special prizes and engaging conversations - this is the ultimate Networking Event for anyone looking to become a health leader starting today. 

We are incredibly fortunate to feature some incredible Panelists . Here is a brief look into our Panelists:

• Dr. Stavroula Andreopoulos, an award-winning educator in the Department of Biochemistry, Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto (UofT) with scholarly expertise in pharmacology and biochemistry
• Dr.  Mohsina Chaklader,  an accomplished medical doctor (M.D.) at Comprehensive Health Services. She completed her post-graduate training in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine at the University of Toronto
• Dr. Renée A. Beach,  a medical doctor (M.D.) with specialization in dermatology and a board-certified fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (F.R.C.P.C.). Founder of  DermAtelier on Avenue

Moreover, we will also feature amazing including:

• Kim Steele, Director, Government and Community Relations at Cystic Fibrosis Canada
• Sarah Laframboise, a PhD Student in Biochemistry at the University of Ottawa, and  co-founder of the non-profit Next Generation Women. Sarah was recently named one of York University Alumni's Top 30 Under 30.
• Zoha Anjum, a Doctor of Dental Surgery student at the University of Toronto. She completed a Master of Public Health from McMaster University and is the Co-founder of Public Health Connect.
• Laura Chiaviaroli, a Clinical Trialist and a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto.
• Yasmine Elmi, enrolled in the Translational and Molecular Medicine program at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Medicine and has recently been chosen as a McCall MacBain scholar.

Finally, we welcome Club Ambassadors, all community leaders and changemakers such as yourselves:

• Tina Kamani, President and Founder of University of the Toronto Predental Association
• Amanda Nkeramihigo, Program Director at the Black Students in Psychology association (BSIP), York University
• Katerina Bavaro, President of Young Leaders of Public Health and Medicine -St. George, University of Toronto
• Vienna Mak, Social Media & Marketing Director for University of Toronto's Mental Health Association

Every registrant will have a change to participate in our raffles for special prizes (details coming soon)! However, you have the opportunity to INCREASE your chances of success in various ways:

1. Early registration will give you extra entries to the raffle. 

                  - Extra Early Ticket and Lucky 25 ticket registrants will be entered in the raffles THREE times instead of one

                  - Early Ticket registrants will be entered in the raffles TWO times instead of one

                  - Every time you refer a a friend, and they register to our event, you receive ONE EXTRA entry in the raffle
