BA Honours Psychology, Faculty of Health, York University
Tell us a little about yourself
My name is Arwa and I am currently studying psychology at York University.
As a member of EWIH, I value the equity and inclusivity of women in the healthcare industry. I also value mental health in the workplace and I want to be a part of the change to help better educate and advocate for women in healthcare. With EWIH I hope to help provide the resources for those considering jobs in healthcare not only to reduce anxieties but to also encourage women as well.
After completing my undergraduate degree, I would like to pursue graduate studies and eventually work in the field of developmental psychology. During my spare time, I enjoy reading books and sketching.
What are you excited to achieve during your time at EWIH?
I am excited to be a part of a team that strives for women's empowerment through its initiatives. I want to help make a difference by promoting the accessibility of resources for women who want to get into healthcare, but most importantly, encouraging inclusivity in the industry.
